The Manchester Millrats are pleased to announce that Charles Mason has rejoined the team for the season.
Mason, a 6'8 forward, is a veteran of many overseas leagues in places such as Ireland, South America, Romania, and China. In 2004, he played for the Denver Nuggets (NBA) summer league team in the Reebok Rocky Mountain Revue, and in the Reebok Vegas Summer league.
He was a key member of the Millrats 2007-2008 team that reached the final four in Quebec City, averaging 15.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 blocks per game. In 2008-2009 he played 6 games for the Millrats, before being traded to the Quebec Kebs for John Ruffus.
"Charles possesses unlimited shooting range and tremendous athletic ability, and he will help us exploit mismatches," explained Millrats Head Coach Heath Teixeria.
The Millrats hit the road on Saturday January 30th to face the Buffalo Stampede at 7:30PM. On Tuesday February 2nd, Manchester travels north to Barre, Vermont to play the Vermont Frost Heaves.
